Entry 17 - I've Been Taking My Meds, by Jenna Agricola

My name is Jenna Agricola! (@jennaagricola & @costumed_thoughts)

I am a sophomore at Pace University, currently in Florence, Italy for the semester, and I am simply interested in writing down everything that I observe. I think that the most powerful connections humans are capable of are forged through art, and right now, we are more in need of those connections than we ever have been.

As a creative writing major, this pandemic seems to me like two major things: history that we are living through, and a period of massive tragedy. I have always processed tragedy the same way – through introspection and endless pages of poetry. Also, history is boring without any art, so I plan on contributing.
