“The kids will be ok.” by Lee Haywood 

I have been an art educator for 15 years and currently teach at Uwharrie Charter Academy middles grades in Asheboro, NC. I serve on the NC Art Education Association board and have my BFA in Painting and Art Ed...but I am a printmaker at heart! I live on a rural poultry and beef farm with my family in the Uwharrie National Forest outside of Troy, NC.

This is a Black and White Photo series of my immediate family (focus on my 2 kids) as we transition over to “social distancing” and then “sheltering in place” during the dates: March 13th –April 13th 2020. Realization that kids are resilient and will be ok.
