“Self Portrait with Rabbit, Winter” by Tommy Fox (@tommyfoxart) 

I’m a visual artist working in a variety of scales and mediums. I also enjoy writing and playing music to keep my creativity reaching in new directions. I often walk or bike to my studio, picking up bits of trash and relics to use in my art.

This painting captures the first few weeks after moving into my current warehouse-studio. I chose to reflect the image in a chrome rabbit to describe the frigid isolation of my space, but also the possibility of a bright future in it. Once spring came around, I was able to paint detail without shivering, making this work possible.
